Alonso Roselló - LomoReporter for a Day at Truenorayo Fest in Valencia
1 Share TweetA few months ago, we teamed up with Truenorayo Fest in Valencia to offer one lucky photographer the opportunity to document the festival with Lomography film and cameras.
Truenorayo Fest is organized by Hits With Tits collective and it's characterized by a special cultural and touristic interest, by promoting music as a platform for cultural dissemination, vindicating the role of women as an active role in music, not only as artists but also as technicians, production professionals and in key management positions.
See below the amazing photos shot by Alonso Roselló, our selected LomoReporter!
The following words are written by Alonso.
If I can describe the experience in two words it would be “fun and unpredictable” because as my style of photography is perfectly suited to using point-and-shoot cameras, it was the perfect environment. You never know what will happen at any time so you always have to be attentive. It was a total pleasure to count on Lomography to document the festival, without a doubt an experience that I would repeat again!
I started with analogue photography when my cousin gave me a reusable Lomography Simple Use camera, then I acquired the La Sardina camera (which was my faithful companion until its days were over) and when I read your book, it was the beginning of an analogue romance.
My work over time has been a reflection of my emotions, its evolution is noticeable in each session. One of my current goals is to try to represent the transience of the immediate, where at first glance certain moments that may be interesting are lost in the past.
Thank you Alonso for sharing your shots and experience with us! Check out Truenorayo Fest and Alonso on Instagram.
