Hi, Geraldo! It’s great to have you here at Lomography! Please tell us about yourself.

I studied Design & Photography. I was doing a lot of graphic design before, and then I worked as full-time photographer in Bandung. I'm interested in a lot of things, let's say art in general, boardgames, and photography. Three years ago my grandparents gave me my first ever film camera, that was unexpectedly a great turning point in my photography journey.

How do you describe your style of photography?

Mostly I do portraits and fashion photography as daily work but as a hobby I do macro and experimental photography.

Do you have any film photographers that you look up to?

I look up to @gocchin and @hodachrome for their experimental film photography works.

How do you usually spend your week?

I work full-time in a social media agency, so almost everyday I work with a camera, but in my spare time I explore the city with my film camera and play boardgames with my friends.

How did you like shooting with the LomoApparat ?

I like how it's compact and light. The wide angle lens also works great, sharp in the middle with unique distortion at the sides.

Can you tell us about what you decided to shoot with the LomoApparat? What do you think about the results?

I tried to capture close up portraits, cityscapes, and some street moments. I think the result is nostalgic and has it's own style that differentiates the LomoApparat from other cameras.

Do you have a favorite photo taken with this camera?

Wow it's hard to choose one, so I'll choose my top three shots.

I think these photos are an example of what the LomoApparat can achieve with its wide angle lens, kaleidoscope filter, and bulb mode.

What did you like most about the LomoChrome Turquoise 35 mm film ?

The color shift which either makes things warmer or completely freaky (in a good way). It brings a new taste to everyday stuff and makes it more exciting.

What is one thing you have been dying to explore further (anything from a place to a particular subject)? Do you have a dream project?

I want to explore new places, abandoned buildings, and do more double-exposure shots. My dream project is to capture the beauty of the things that people find hard to see with their eyes.

What’s in the works for you and what’s on your mind?

Here's a little sneak peek, I'm planning on moving to Bali. An all-summer tropical island with beautiful views everywhere. So that's in the works and I can't wait to capture this new island with my film cameras and my favorite LomoChrome films!

Any messages to other Lomographers out there?

Keep shooting film, explore, try new films and cameras, because every little detail that you do matters. Enjoy the process and the results will feel like a gift from your effort. Thank you Lomography Indonesia.
