Hello, I'm Pimchanok Teepapong, aka Paerytopia. Currently, I'm a freelance artist and illustrator.

How did you become an illustrator?

The beginning of becoming an illustrator. . . if I were to think back, it might be my passion for drawing that I've had since I was a child. And then growing up, I still liked this kind of work. So I went to study at the Faculty of Communication Design. After graduating, I decided to work as an illustrator without hesitation. The origin of my name, Paerytopia is a combination of my nickname and the word Topia. It makes me think of a land of some kind with a fantasy and dreamy feel. So, Paerytopia is a land where only my own preferences and passions are expressed through various illustrations.

What is the concept of your Lomo'Instant Automat customization?

For the concept of this camera, I designed it based on my own love of the underwater world. In many illustrations, my work usually consists of various elements that are related to the sea. Whether it is various aquatic animals, wave foam, or colors of life under the sea, it has a fascination for me. I wanted to combine these preferences from my perspective into the design of this camera.

What techniques did you use for this artwork?

The drawing technique is digital painting on an iPad. After that, I put the design into a template of the Lomo'Instant Automat camera before printing UV ink onto a hologram sticker to add a more unique look to the work. When picking up the camera and flipping it around, where there are air bubbles in the picture, there is a hologram that reflects beautiful light.

If you could choose one song as a soundtrack for this camera, which song would you choose?

The song is called Sunset. from 92914 I felt reminded of this song because it's a relaxing one. It makes me think of the moment when I took this camera and watched the sunset by the sea with a very special person.

Have you had the chance to take this camera out and take some photos?

Actually, at first, I intended to take photos of the atmosphere of the sea at Ko Samet Island to match the camera theme that was designed. In the end, I brought the camera back and instead took photos of the atmosphere when I traveled to Japan.
