What can I tell you... this trip was fun and exciting, it was nice to spend this time with my wife in places I never thought we would find ourselves together. We explored some local beach where there were only a few people around and felt like we were the only tourists. We also spent some time in a country house in the middle of nowhere and when I say middle nowhere I mean NADA was around.
As for tips and tricks for traveling in Europe— make sure to have a European charger and external battery pack for your phone. Carry cash. Pack light and bring comfortable shoes. It's much better to rewear the same thing and not carry extra unnecessary weight or stuff. Leave space in your luggage for if you decide to shop and bring stuff back home.
The LomoApparat was a fun and easy to use camera. I have always had a thing for light plastic cameras with fun lenses to play and experiment around. It's definitely a good camera to experiment with. Because of the unbelievablely sharp lens, I ended up using it without the accessories most of the time.
Thank you, Luis, for sharing your tips and experiences with us! Make sure to check out his Instagram for more of his work. You can also pick up a copy of his latest photo book BEAUTY BEAUTY through Konnotation Press.
