Why shoot film in this day and age?
I have been shooting film for about five years. I like the texture of film and I also enjoyed the process of shooting. There are surprises every time when we shoot the film.
What inspires you to take photos?
There was my first time shooting that I was doing a part-time job a few years ago. I became obsessed with it when I took the camera.
How do you stay motivated?
I like to shoot pictures of girls and landscapes. Every girl is attractive. They give me a lot of creative inspiration. I appreciate the girls I know and the photography enthusiasts from all over the world, which makes me want to know more about the world and stay motivated.
What elements do you look for in a shot?
Before I hit the shutter, I will observe the surrounding. I think that in a photo, whether it is a person or anything in the environment, they are the protagonist of the photo and the important factor in the composition of an image. Of course, that the light from the sun is indispensable. The sun makes the film photograph full of life.
How would you describe your photographic style?
About my style, I actually can't define myself. When I was looking for a girl to shot for the first time, I would always be asked what style I would shoot, but I couldn't answer every time as I felt my shooting style is not in line with what the public knows. Sometimes I feel that my works are very ordinary, but my friends say that it is unique. Maybe it is called Panda's style.
