How did you get into analogue photography?

I started taking pictures as a teenager with a simple point & shoot camera and my grandfather also did a lot of photography, developed films himself and worked in the darkroom. But I have always been a very visual person and in the beginning, I mostly drew, but that didn't give me the feeling of self-expression as much as Photography.

What inspires your photographs?

Actually, everything inspires me and I think that everything can be interesting if you deal with a topic sufficiently. I try to go through the world with open eyes and find inspiration everywhere. Both in nature, my environment, the people in front of my camera, films, books, paintings, music.

What do you like best about the LomoChrome Metropolis Film?

What I like most is the intensity of the reds and the strong contrasts, as well as the nevertheless desaturated look. I also find it exciting that it behaves completely differently in the daylight than in the studio, which makes the whole thing a bit of a challenge.

Which photo from this series do you like the most?

This one, because Angie, aka angiewieangie is simply an incredibly great person who radiates strength and the set in Salzburg had something magical, surreal about it.

Last but not least, is there anything you have always wanted to say or share with the community or Lomography?

Not to lose the pleasure of analogue photography, even though we live in hectic and difficult times and the passion to express ourselves visually and creatively is now more important than ever.
