Welcome to Disneyland Tokyo! It ain’t just about cartoon characters running around entertaining the kids! There’s more to this fun-filled theme park than meets the eye. Bring your entire family for a trip that’s sure to unleash the child in you.
Located in Urayasu City in Chiba, Japan, the Tokyo Disneyland offers more than Mickey Mouse and friends. The seven themed sections in the park promises tons of fun for the entire family in this first Disney park out of the United States. Spending a day there is never enough as the themed sections (World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland), gift stores and mouth watering food outlets will keep you asking for more.
It can be easily accessed though public transportation by taking a train to the Tokyo Disneyland Station. Apart from the theme park, you can also check out Ikspiari, a nine themed zones comprising 140 shops and food outlets and a 16 screen cinema complex.
Getting there ain’t too difficult. If you are staying at any of the Tokyo Disney hotels, there are direct buses from the airport and it costs about US$25. An alternative is to go by train but then this option is a little more troublesome as you might have to lug around luggage and the limousine buses are better options.
