It is also very nice and beautiful to take walk around the Silvretta Lake because you have a great view to lots of mountains, for example the Piz Buin, the highest mountain of Vorarlberg (3312m). And you surely guessed it: you can start amazing mountain hikes from there, with a well marked path network and lots of alpine meadows and alpine huts to take a rest.
By the way: the Silvretta-Hochalpenstrasse is often chosen as a location for bicycle races and motor sports events (for example old-timer rallies).
You reach the Bielerhoehe with your vehicle from Partenen (Vorarlberg) or from Galtür (Tyrol). The Silvretta-Hochalpenstrasse is a very curvaceous road (32 curves on a street length of 22,5km) and there are acclivities/inclines up to 13 percent! So please drive carefully!!!
