Lomography recently partnered up with Satchmi for a night of music, film photography, and a whole lot of fun! The recently concluded event was called Satchmi Vinyl Day and was joined by different bands, lifestyle brands, and their fans.
Guests rocked to the beat at The Axon, Green Sun in Makati courtesy of some local bands in the Philippines. The lineup of performers included Karlo Base, Clara Benin, Over October, Extrapolation, Kremesoda, I Belong to the Zoo, Dante & Amigo, We Are Imaginary, Any Name's Okay, Munimuni, Lola Amour, Reese Lansangan, Cheats, Oh Flamingo!, and Autotelic.
Different lifestyle brands also pitched in to make the night extra memorable. Freebies, contests, and shops were set up for the guests and Lomography was more than eager to join in on the fun. A Diana Deluxe Kit was raffled off to a lucky winner which also happened to be the vocalist of the band Any Name's Okay.
Lomography sent out its very own LomoAmigo Correspondents Ennuh Tiu and JC Gellidon to the scene to capture the night of festivities. LomoAmigos Ennuh set out to document the night in half-frame format with the LC-Wide while JC took the new Petzval 55 mm f/1.7 MKII Lens for a spin.
Satchmi is a local brand in the Philippines who caters to the vintage and analogue market. Some of their products include vinyl records, film cameras, and films thanks to their sister company, Film Folk.
They also have a cafe located in SM Megamall and UP Town Center where fans of all things vintage and analogue can come together to mingle and share their interests and hobbies. Some items in Film Folk's lineup include Lomography films like Color Negative, black-and-white, and slide. Film Folk is a local brand in the Philippines that serves as a one-stop-shop for all things analogue.
