For the Love of Film with Lafilledeer

Her introduction to Lomography was in 2010 when a friend kindly lent his Fisheye camera and offered her a SuperSampler. Two years later she picked up a La Sardina Mobius camera, pursued film photography seriously, and never looked back. In her words, "It changed my life."

We asked her about what she loves about the Lomography community.
"It’s a community with people who share a common passion. This means rich exchanges, tips, good plans, swaps, comments to improve yourself. Another thing that I particularly like is doing film swaps with Lomographers from other countries, like @richardpjlambert and @fotobes."

"I love everything about film photography. Analogue pictures are so unique, with that grain, that depth. Film is real; it’s not just digital files."
For @lafilledeer, she likes the endless experimentation with film: from film swapping, trying very old expired films, cross-processing to double exposures.
"Film cameras are often beautiful and I like hearing their mechanisms when I take a picture."
She also loves the surprise when she discovers the results after shooting a new roll of film. The unpredictable effects from experimenting with new film, and the rediscovery of forgotten subjects.
