Meet of Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjulm of Cachete Jack, who talk about their work and customising the La Sardina DIY.
Cachete Jack is the brainchild of Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, a Spanish freelance illustration duo with a nomadic lifestyle. They met at Fine Arts University in 2006 and officially became a team in 2011. Their illustration universe is full of colors, energy, humour, and irony. Working in a variety of media, including—but not limited to—books, magazines, newspapers, clothing, drawing, painting, walls, and illustration. They combine reality with a quirky point of view to create situations and environments closer to the viewer.
When we asked this dynamic duo how they came up with the design concept of their customized La Sardina, this is what they had to say:
" We love to take pictures with analogical cameras cause they are romantic second cause they make you stand in very funny and impossible positions to take the best photos! So we wanted to get this idea in the camera, how to get the best angle to make the greatest picture!!"
What is Cachete Jack's next project? The plan on painting a big mural next month and photograph it with their La Sardina camera, of course!
