Every member of staff at Lomography UK has a unique talent of some sort. Apart from being experts in film photography, we have musicians, band photographers, documentary makers and screen printers all under one roof. Store Manager Holly Buckle is no exception to this rule. Having recently received a place to study Masters at SLADE School of Fine Art, she exhibited her work at the Lomography Soho Store.
The work is a mix of photographs manipulated, distorted, and enlarged to various degrees. This show attracted the usual Lomography regulars, friends, family members, and some of Holly's former college tutors.
Some of the shop staff decided to document the night in true analogue style and created some professional-looking portraits using the Lubitel 166+ camera. Once the guests arrived and the beer started to flow, we switched to the LC-A+. We even pulled out the much-loved Belair X 6-12 camera for a few medium format shots.
