“Around the World in Analogue” is your bite-size guide to the most amazing travel destinations around the globe, as told by the members of the Lomography community. Today, Alice Smith (@alicethetriplet) takes us on a quick tour of Berlin, Germany.
Berlin is a city that I've had the fortune of visiting several times, most of these trips were reunions with my siblings for our birthdays. The city is steeped in history, art, culture, and architecture — it's a place that I love photographing.
On my last visit, I took my trusty Agfa Silette (a brand that appropriately was born in Berlin) trying out some Bergger Pancro 400. Both the tones and insane grain of the film seems to aged the photos, giving them a somewhat timeless quality which I absolutely love. Every visit to this amazing place is better than the last, and I'm excited for the next one.
Thank you Alice Smith for sharing your moody, monochromatic memories of Berlin!
