“Around the World in Analogue” is your bite-size guide to the most amazing travel destinations across the globe, as documented by the members of the Lomography community. Today, Lomographer Rita Santos (@rls) gives a tour of Madrid, Spain through her moody monochromatic shots.
“Even though Spain might be famous for the beaches and tasty food, Spanish cities and urban areas have a lot to explore. I have recently moved to Madrid and I can guarantee that it is a great choice for those into street photography. I loaded my brand new Superheadz Blue Ribbon with some black and white film to test it and the result was a monochromatic highlight of the city's impressive buildings, architecture, and parks.”
“If you are traveling (or plan to travel) to Madrid, I strongly recommend to visit it over Spring or Autumn to enjoy the warm colors of this city during these seasons and to avoid the extremely warm Summer. Explore the city like a local: go for a walk in one of the main parks, check the countless grand buildings, try a bocadillo de calamares and visit one of the many museums and art.”
