New York

  • Wednesday, July 4th | Lomography Holiday: Store Closed

Jump lens first into the bustling streets of New York — one frame at a time. Switch up your perspective and learn something new from other analogue enthusiasts. Share, inspire and start shooting great urban imagery on a LomoWalk!

This LomoWalk is inspired by Jeremiah Moss, whose work on the blog Jeremiah's Vanishing New York and bestselling book of the same title has chronicled the changes afoot in the 21st century city. He's used a Lomography camera to snap some shots of the new NYC, and you'll use them as inspiration before heading out to take some of your own.

Get your ticket in the form of a Simple Use Film Camera to attend the LomoWalk. Please note that payment is required at the time of all online orders. The walk will start in the Rare Book Room, located at the 3rd floor of the Strand at 828 Broadway, 12th Street.

We want you to go out and shoot as much as possible this summer, that’s why we will be offering a weekend long sale on a handful of our cameras. Celebrate the summer heat and hot deals here at the Lomography NYC Shop!

We are happy to be showcasing the work of New York-based photographer Esteban Chacin at our Lomography Gallery! Esteban’s work will explore all the ins and outs of analog photography from home processed film in both color and monochrome!

Exhibition will be from 18:00 to 20:00.

Exhibitions and parties are FREE. Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless otherwise noted. Admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera if applicable. All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store. Space is limited to 10 participants per workshop unless otherwise noted. Drop by our store or email us at shopnyc@lomography.com to hold your place!

We are holding tokyobike x Lomography exhibition at our store Lomography+. Tokyobike is a small, independent bicycle company founded in 2002 in the quiet suburb of Yanaka. Based on the concept of "Tokyo Slow", their bicycles are designed to explore the places they love and call home. With a tokyobike, it is as much about the journey as the destination.

Tokyobike will exhibit their bikes and we can see bike-film camera chemistry there. Pictures inspired by Lomography's 10 Golden Rules and shot by each tokyobike staff will also be on display. Let’s enjoy photography thorough the point of view of a biker!

Entrance is free. Store is open from 12:00 to 19:00, except on Monday and Tuesday.

Learn how to process your black-and-white film at your own home! After a walk with the Diana F+ through el Born, Barcelona, we'll head back to our laboratory where you'll learn how to prepare the chemicals and discover secrets on to a perfect processing. We'll also explain how to push develop a film two to three stops.

Enjoy summer with the La Sardina! Learn all the tricks and secrets to becoming a real street photographer and put them into practice at La Barceloneta where you can develop your own photographic style.

Ricardo Alcalde Corral (Salamanca, 1963-) inaugurates his first solo exhibition of images done using direct carbon technique. On Friday the 20th, he'll arrive in Gijón with "Larga cambiada", a carefully selected sample of fifteen photographs of size 30x30 cm.

This workshop is aimed to people who want to know and develop an old photographic technique, handmade and with a very colorful finish. Direct carbon is a historical process that gives a very pictorial aesthetic to the image.

Learn how to develop your black and white film and enlarge photos in our darkroom. This workshop takes about four hours and includes a loan of an analogue camera and a roll of black and white film.
