Prince Daddy and the Hyena returned to Brooklyn on May 31st to play with Rozwell Kid on their last tour. The fun quartet was goofy as ever. After spending some time with our Simple Use Cameras on the road at SXSW this past spring, we decided to flip the switch and photograph them using our Lomo'Instant Wide.
We took the Lomo'Instant Wide with us and took to the streets of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Having the band goof around, strike some poses and be a model of their own.
The band's enthusiasm and high energy even after touring for weeks is refreshing and fun to be around. Their jumpy and fun attitude created some amazing poses for photos. Certainly they create an atmosphere to just go about and have fun. The instant wide offers as the band calls it "a little more pizzaz", capturing double of the mini instants that they've typically seen. Offering two times the size of an instant mini, the wide format allows to create a bigger composition for framing. Allowing for the band to not have to squish together to get into a tight frame.
We got to hang out in their green room, chatting about the latest in music and their experience on tour. They loved the Lomo'Instant Wide and it's pretty massive size without it being too heavy. They claimed it had "a vintage feel" to it. Much like the 70's style lounge of their green room.
