Recap: I'm Every Woman Charity Exhibition

Distortion Unplugged hosted a Charity Event in Brooklyn to celebrate International Women's Day! The event included an exhibition of photos of the most famous women in music taken by women photographers. All donations from the event went to My Sister's Place in New York, an organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking.

The event was packed with all walks of life. The photographers included in the exhibition were Dana Distortion, Jessica Lehrman, Piper Ferguson, Katarina Benzova, Amanda Hatfield, Silvia Saponaro, and Jen Maler showcasing their music photography.

Some of the acts photograph included Amy Winehouse, Dolores O'Riordan, Yoko Ono, Florence and The Machine, Grace Jones, and Courtney Love. The spectrum of talent from all of these women come to show their power and strength within their field.

It was such a great experience to have all of these women come together in support of a great organization. Those who donated more than $100 were eligible to win a Lomography Camera.
