"Around the World in Analogue" is your bite-size guide to the most amazing travel destinations across the globe, as documented by the members of the Lomography community. Today, lomographer Xander Folkes shares photos taken during a hectic election day in Nepal.

I work as an election observer and was posted to North West Nepal, a place the the trekkers don't visit and where visitors are very much a rarity. The pictures are a mix of election-related images (including one accidental double shot which really works) and people going about their work oblivious of the electioneering going on around them.

I deliberately varied the focus a bit so the sharpest pictures are those who have the highest standing in society, down to the young lad in the roadside cafe who is part of the most marginalized.

cool (y) recently watch everest the summit of the gods and it so beyond human ability to reach the peak of the everest. I doubt my fragile lomography camera could hang on above there ^o^ T_T
