Found Photographs of Coney Island

While we love the singular works of renowned New York photographers such as Vivian Maier and Berenice Abbott, the most compelling ones can be found in the vernacular. The untrained eyes are the most raw.

Here are some found images by collector Christopher Jordan. The photographs seemed to be taken during a day trip. There's not much known if this was from a group of tourists staying in a Manhattan hotel, or a family of Manhattanites exploring the iconic sites of their city. Images are from Flashbak.
