Hello! Welcome to the Lomography Magazine. Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi! My real name is Tamara but you know me under the name @pearlgirl77 here in the community. I've been here since 2011 and I love it to be a part of this community.
How did your interest with photography start?
It starts for over 25 years when i was 15 years old. I got my first SLR and took pictures from everything around me.
How would you define photography? What makes it worth pursuing?
Hard question. For me, photography is fun. I love to take and look at pictures. I love analogue and tactile processes like instant photography and home developing. Photography is something that belongs to my life and I can't imagine how I'll live without it!
What inspires you?
This is really easy. It is nature, the most beautiful and inspiring thing of the world!
What makes a good photograph?
I think for this question I don't have a good answer. There are so many different things that make photograph a good one. Sometimes, it could be very simple and just be great.
Any advice that you’d like to give aspiring photographers?
Don't go out for a walk to get likes. Only shoot for you and how you like and love it. It's nice to get likes but it's not so important. You should have fun when taking pictures. When you want to change something, try out new things or meet some other photographers. Every Lomo-meeting is very inspiring and brings lot of fun!
