Few things can compare to the feeling of having a new camera but there's even fewer things to match that hit in the gut when you find a camera that looks so nice but you just can't own it. If you're like us and you just want to torture yourself by looking at impeccable-looking cameras, then you're in for a treat.
Lo and behold, a Canon ODF-1 in olive drab. You don't have to be an avid collector to say that this is one beautiful or handsome-looking piece of gear. Regardless of word choice, this camera is just stunning not only because of its unusual color but its build quality. This camera looks like it can be a grail piece that sits on top of your high end shelf or it can duke it out in the harshest shooting environments and come home with just hairline scratches. Of course, you wouldn't do that to a camera of this quality.
We spotted this gorgeous camera on Rio Akasaka's site The Canon Film Guy and we were absolutely smitten and we know that you guys would probably love it as well. The paint job on this Canon is spot on. You can appreciate the work that was put into this even if you're not that much into tactical or military gear. The dials are evenly coated with that olive drab and the markings are easily identifiable with finely placed dabs of khaki. Rio, we salute you for bringing us this wonderful piece!
