Alina Baraz, best known for her soulful beats which take listeners away to another world, took the La Sardina and Lomo'Instant Wide on tour, sharing what life was like on the road with the camera in tow. Fans who attended her meet and greets were lucky enough to take home a signed photo of their own!
How'd you get started with your career in music?
I always knew I would do this, I just didn’t know when. Then it hit me one day (I was 19) and I went home and told my mom I needed to move to California. More for the mentality than the place. Now I’m here.
What was it like having the Lomo Instant Wide on tour? Does having cameras along change the experience at all?
I loved having Lomo Instant with us on tour. Especially at meet and greets. It exists outside of your phone and its something you can hold. I always keep some in my wallet.
What is your favorite thing about instant photography?
Instant photographs are everything. You get one take, no editing. It’s as pure to the moment as it can get.
What keeps you inspired?
