Wes Anderson's first dip into non-fiction is where he takes the role as executive producer in the recently released documentary film on the life and time of actor, producer, screenwriter, flamenco dancer Hampton Francher.
The film, entitled "Escapes", is directed by Michael Almereyda, known for his documentary works on two American artists Sam Shepard in "This So-Called Disaster (2002)" and William Eggleston in "William Eggleston in the Real World (2005)". The documentary anticipates the sequel for Blade Runner as it revisits and recalls the life of Francher and his many roles in the arts, cinema, and the creative realm.
