Indie Street Film Festival x Lomography: Cinematic Images Winners

The Indie Street Film Festival is starting today; it's five days of celebrating film, the arts, and diverse voices. The festival brings artists and audiences together whose work promotes positive change in the community. Learn more in the festival overview, and if you're located in the Red Bank or Tri State area, you can still purchase festival tickets.

For the Cinematic Images competition, Lomography and the Indie Street Film Festival called to see some of the most unique photographs balanced between cinema and still photographic styles, using elements of classic and contemporary cinema such as wide angles, shallow depth of field or vivid colors. Let's check out the winners!

Here are the Runners Up, who will receive 15 piggies each:

BSCHERER: Not only can we feel the energy and movement of this shot, we can also hear the music.

JONM227: The golden light of this capture makes us wonder, who is about to ride into the sunset?

DOCDOC: There's such a sense of spooky time and place in this fall suburban scene.

CISUPERTRAMP: The rush of the night shines bright in the neon lights framed through the back of the bus.

MONTAGU: Something big is happening here -- someone is off to save the world.

And finally, the Grand Prize Winner, who will receive the a Lomography LomoKino and 35mm film. We wish he could attend the Festival as the LomoReporter, but unfortunately the travel is a little too far! However, there will still be coverage of the Indie Street's many festivities on the Magazine so stay tuned for that.

MYFRIDAYFILMS: A la Wes Anderson, brightly colored details pop against a neatly composed background.

Congratulations to all of the winners!
