Zorki Photo to Launch Its First B&W Film "Zorki Photo Mono"

2017-07-04 8

With Rollei's newly-announced film stock, another one comes along rolling, bearing nothing but good news in the world of analogue photography.

Zorki Photo will be releasing its very first film stock, Zorki Photo Mono, a 100-ISO black and white negative film.

The panchromatic emulsion is formulated in such a way it would have 'biting contrast a traditional grain structure', perfect for those looking for the classic B&W film. A roll will cost £4, with a minimum order of 3 rolls per batch. The film is currently on the first stage of production, packaging will be done by the end of August, and shipping by October.

Now you have the Ektachrome comeback, Bergger, and Rollei to await for!

@zhenyaetoya I don't think so. My guess it is produced by Foma.

Well, it's a gorgeous packaging, but it's not a reason for ecstasy. It's just an existing repacked / rebranded film. Nothing new ...

@schlicksbier If it gets people to buy and shoot more film that's a reason to celebrate.
