Landscape photographer Thomas Heaton isn't ready to let go of his bulky large format just yet. The large format camera is a different beast when it comes to photographic practice -- both eye and stamina work together to overcome challenges of its weight. From a technical standpoint, large format is difficult to master as well, but the fruits of this almost meditative process, requiring patience and discipline, is a rewarding practice.
