The Internet has allowed the proliferation of photographs. Let's face it though, some are good, most are bad, sub-par. And at some point we've all experienced social media fatigue -- say for Instagram posts with selfies and such.
The Chronicle, however, aims to be that breath of fresh air in the visual community on the 'net.
The Chronicle launched a community-based platform where people can contribute to 'chronicles' through photographs. Their beta website and app are currently running and has so far began chronicling histories of different kinds -- such as "Urban Art", "Women' Rights in the US", "Flea Market Faces", "New York Subways", etc. The images are arranged accordingly to the date they were taken.
