Tell us how you got into photography.

When I was small, I used to take photos for my parents. My dad loves to photograph my mom and sometimes I would help in taking pictures of them, the photos were pretty good as I remember, haha! I started to really get into photography when I was in tertiary education, I used to take photos of everything. I interned in a few creative media, arts education companies and groups and met many mentors. They introduced me to different people whenever there's a chance and then I started to gain work-related opportunities.

How would you describe your photography style?

There isn't any definition for the style of my work, I will let the audience comprehend.

What is your first impression of the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System?

An interchangeable lens system is an interesting idea. It is different from the Lomography lenses I used to know, the images taken with this lens system is very sharp. The vignette is gone, the distortion at the corners is reduced and the bokeh looks fresh and nice. Also, it is very fun to be able to add the drop-in aperture plates.

What is your favorite front lens?

My favorite front lens is the 35mm and I usually use 50mm.

Please tell us more about the photographs you took for this series.

Some are the plants near my home, I always pass by them when I don't have to work. On the day of the shoot, it was a bit gloomy and the contrast was low. I like to take photos in this kind of weather, the colors come out neutral. I went home after taking these photos and it rained for the whole day. Some were taken at work (during breaks). The model is my colleague, we always have to work together and we take breaks together. Even if I don't smoke, she still invites me to accompany her for a smoke break and I take photos of her.

Which is your favourite photo?

The smoking girl is my favorite. I rarely see girls that look good while smoking, which makes me want to capture the moment, so I asked her to be my model.
