TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards 2016: Trial and Error Winners
We’re firm believers that there are no mistakes — only lessons. We’re long-time lovers of kooky experiments, creative endeavors and happy accidents. From film soup to light leaks to mistaken multiple exposures, the Trial & Error Award celebrates it all. Witness how these photography "mishaps" can produce striking, one-of-a-kind photographs.
Congratulations to the champions of the Trial and Error category and thank you to everyone who participated! We'd also like to extend our gratitude to judges Gundula Blumi, Elvis Halilović of ONDU , Jimmy Cheng, Hodaka Yamamoto, Luca Mercedes of Honest., and Íris Ólafsdóttir of Kúla who lent their time and expertise to determine the best among the best in this category!

I'm disappointed, the winning photos are not spontaneous I think they are recombined far from the roots of Lomography!
This does not apply to my pictures! I know the creativity of others that I deserve recognition and reward. The jury did not meet my expectations. I greet all the underestimated creators of Lomography.
@andrewbreslauer what do you mean bro? one of the judges is Hodachrome!!! if your photo really really spontaneous and very lomography root please share us the link and my prize is for you =) but if not maybe you should give me a prize ^o^
@hervinsyah Hi HERVINSYAH! I'm not horrible :) I only think that the award photos are not spontaneous, only recombined and intended. They are not a case of accident and error! I do not nominate any photos for the prize because I am just an ordinary hobbyist and not a professional expert.
I greet all the Lomomograchy hobbyists. Andrew
@andrewbreslauer I'm not said you horrible that's just your bad thought and for your info my photo here are spontaneously accident because when I thought the roll was full inside of canister I open the back and there are still a roll there so the lightleak at my photo here are coincidentally burn. Also you should check hodachrome's lomohonme if you think he is not capable judges. And last if you are not satisfied but not have better photo please just do not comment because it really disappointing
Hi HERVINSYAH !
Of course you are right in all things :)
Ps.
I know much better photos, but I do not point out that the authors do not expose the critic.
@andrewbreslauer You aren't responding in the spirit of this site. In any artistic medium there is plenty of room for the subjective in aesthetic. What's more, these are FREE competitions—Just congratulate the winners or don't do anything.
Well my master and teacher, the creator of photographic impressionism :) Determining trends and what is allowed and what is not allowed in Lomography. Because artificem commendat opus I do not understand what it is, after all
non est ars reprehenditur timere.
