Shout-out to all photo enthusiasts in Berlin!
Lomographer @alixunderplatz invites you to Gallery Anna25 to experience the contemporary aesthetics of Berlin-based photo artist Thomas Nitz’ analog photographs! The exhibit is called “Essenz” and is currently ongoing until 14 April 2017. It showcases his impressive multiple exposure images, created on watercolor cardboards which were coated with a photosensitive emulsion by the artist. Take a close-up view and realize that these photographs are a hybrid product of painting and photography processes.
Join the artist every Saturday and be part of one of his live performances, in which you have the chance to be photographed by a really special self-made large format camera. Experience how the experience how the family photographs of your ancestors might have been created back in the days. As an extra, you can observe how the images come to life in real-time inside the so called Darkbox Camera – watch this teaser as a little hint:

Visit the exhibition from Wednesday to Saturday between 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Get to know the artist himself on Saturdays between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
