Tell us about yourself?
Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm part of the Lomography online department, designing microsites, online campaigns, and other things. I live in Lancaster, up in the North-West of England.
How did you get on shooting with the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens?
This was my first time using the Daguerre lens and I have to say I'm really in love with it. We were shooting in a very sunny warehouse in Manchester, so it took me a little time to figure out the apertures to work with, and in retrospect, I wish I'd been a bit more experimental with these but time was a bit limited. I really love the soft focus. All in all I found the lens really intuitive for a first time user.
What did you choose to shoot?
I shot two models with a bridal theme, thank you Elizabeth and Miglė! Also thank you to Amanda Wyatt for the beautiful gowns.
What's coming up in 2017?
More portraits are coming up in 2017 plus I'm working on a photo collaboration with a designer in Manchester.
