Lomography Teams Up with Cloud Nothings for #LifeWithoutSound Competition

Cloud Nothings was founded in 2010 in a Cleveland basement, the one-man recording project of Dylan Baldi, an unassuming, then 18-year-old student of song with a remarkable ear for melody. Now, seven years later, Baldi and co have delivered Life Without Sound – the band’s fourth studio album, and most polished and considered work to date.

Cloud Nothings have teamed up with Lomography to celebrate the album’s release and is asking Lomographers to raise your cameras and start snapping away, sharing photos inspired by Cloud Nothings’ music. The winning photo should exemplify the spirit of Life Without Sound – rebirth, self-discovery, and evolution. “Generally, it seems like my work has been about finding my place in the world,” Baldi says. “But there was a point in which I realized that you can be missing something important in your life, a part you didn't realize you were missing until it's there—hence the title.”
