Wangs Lok is a photographer who is deeply into nature and hiking. Whenever he gets stressed, hiking can heal everything. This time he brought along the Lomo'Instant Automat to get in touch with the mountains, Sunset Peak and Lo Fu Tau in Hong Kong. Let’s have a look at his instant photos!
Sunset Peak is the third highest mountain in Hong Kong. Whilst, Lo Fu Tau is named because of a giant stone on the top of the hill resembling the shape of a tiger’s head which is located in the Northeast of Lantau Island near Discovery Bay. During the time from November to January, the chinese silvergrass on the mountains would turn into a lovely golden yellow colour. Therefore, they are popular hiking routes for citizens who would love to catch the magnificent views of chinese silvergrass.
There are more and more people started to hike and here are a few tips for all beginners. Do detailed researches beforehand is highly recommended. For instance, Sunset Peak is no easy route at all, not only it requires 4 hours to complete , but also the path itself is quite rough for beginners. More importantly, please remember to bring enough water to avoid heat stroke during the hike.
