If you visit Singapore, get ready your lomo cameras and come to this amazing theme park called Haw Par Villa! It is a wonderland of beautiful landscape and colorful sculptures!
Formally known as the Tiger Balm Gardens, it was built by the Brothers of the Tiger Balm business. The mansion was demolished after World War II but the garden remains open till today and since converted into a theme park named Haw Par Villa.
The park opens its door to the public to preserve Chinese heritage by educating the younger generation important lessons in life. The three-dimensional sculptures and figurines were painstakingly created to portray stories and events based on famous Chinese mythology and legends.
Once a popular theme park, it is now in a run down state and entry to the park has been free since 1996. However I still love this place and it has become one of my favorite lomo locations! Checkout my Lomo LC-A+ and Lomo Spinner 360° pictures of this amazing wonderland!
