It’s been a long journey in the making with months of preparation, dozens of tests, and one gigantic Kickstarter campaign, but we’re finally ready to unveil the Daguerreotype Achromat Art Lens to the rest of the world with our Globally connected launch parties!!
As always, New York City is the first on the block with an opening exhibition on November 17th, and we can’t wait to see you there! We will be showcasing not only work from our international Lomographic community, but a special collection of photographs featuring NYC’s very own local artists will be featured as well!
Those artists will also work with our Lomo NY team to facilitate a creative dialogue between photographers of all walks of life, united behind the lens of our truly unique Achromat design. These artists will be discussing the many facets of the lens, and how you can best use it on your own individual creative endeavors.
Panel Speakers include fashion photographer Emily Soto, portrait and alternative process artist Geoffrey Berliner, administrator and commercial photographer Daniel Schaefer, street photographer Jorge Garcia, and art photographer Anita Anti.
Be sure to make it out to Lomography NYC on November 17th, 6pm to experience the newest edition of the Lomography Art Lens line-up:
41 West 8th Street
New York, NY 10011
There will be Lenses available for you to test, answers to all the questions you could ever have, and all the film you could possibly shoot!
We’re proud to introduce three new anniversary editions for the LC-A+, the LC-Wide and the LC-A 120 which feature a special embossed leather design. Available while limited stock lasts, pick up your piece of the Lomo legacy from the Online Shop or a Gallery Store near you!.
