8

The place to upload and organize your Lomographs is now easier and faster to navigate! Time to get familiar on what’s new and what’s been reworked!

So you’ve been taking a lot of photos and want to share them with the world. The Lomography Lab is the place to do that! For the past few weeks, our team has been reworking the lab to give you a more convenient experience on Lomography.com. Here are some features of the new and improved Lab:

  • Easy unlimited photo upload
  • Organize the photos in albums to make your home the perfect showcase
  • Add tags, titles and descriptions to your photos to give more information
  • Let others know which camera and film you used and where you took the photos. This way the chances of them appearing in one of our collections also increases

Knowing that you’re going to spend some time hanging out in the Lab with your Lomographic masterpieces, we have worked hard to make it more user-friendly and easier than ever! Come visit the Lab to see what we’re talking about. If you are new to it, check out this post first.

To celebrate this relaunch, we’ll be giving away some special prizes! There are two ways to win:

  • From all the photo uploads between 19.5.10 and 26.5.10 we’ll pick winners who will receive 30 Piggies!
  • The Lomographer who uploads the most pictures will get a special prize! Enter now until 26.5.10.

So if you’ve been holding back your shots, this is the perfect time to get busy in the Lab!

Hmm, my photos are in the wrong order and it keeps on saying that I published new albums that I actually published about a year ago.

I'm excited about the new lab, but while I have your attention may I make a suggestion that is in the spirit of upgrading as well... What if there were an option to retract a competition submission? I know I'm not the only one who has accidentally submitted a photo, without looking at the competition parameters, or simply clicked on the wrong photo; only to have wasted a valuable spot in the few submission allowances. Or there are situations where you have new pictures that you would rather submit than your old ones... Just a humble suggestion.

And I reiterate, the new lab rocks :)

I'm having another issue related to the new site. I can't create a camera review for a camera that isn't already on the drop-down list.

@a_kep: we will count that, too!
@elletra: good point and we are already on it – magazine changes coming next
