How to create Albums on our Site

2015-02-25 9

So you’re just waiting to upload all your latest shots into a new album? Then put the pedal to the metal and follow the instructions below.

Uploading

Aside form the uploading spot on the cover page that you’ve probably already came along, the uploader is the place where you want to start getting your precious Lomographs up our site.

You can either simply drag and drop them from a folder on your desktop or select the files from your hard drive. Once your photos are uploaded you can add a description in the field below. Using #hashtags you use will automatically be transformed into tags for your uploaded photos. In the drop down you can now select to either just upload them, create a new album with them or add them to an already existing one from your list.

Working with your Albums

On the Albums page you find a list of all your existing albums along with their name, visibility status, photo count and date of creation. To edit one of your albums or add more photos to it, just select the one you want to work with and you are taken to a detailed album view.

To create a new album simply hit the “new album”-button on the overview page and it will take you here.

Photo Editing

If you want to add tags and assign camera and film to your Lomographs the Photos section is the right place. Select the photos you want to work with from your photo overview and go to “Edit Selection”. This will take you to a detailed view where you can add or change title, description and tags, assign cameras, film, country and city, and place your photos on google maps.

Showcasing your Photos

When it comes to lomohomes everybody has their personal flavor so we added a few more options for you to customize it. You can now choose if you want visitors to see your trending, most popular or recent photos and the size in which you want them displayed on your photo wall.

Simply go to your Settings and choose these options from the dropdown. While you are at it, why not add a new avatar or description text.

The wording of this is so weird. Is this a translation? Does it tell you if things are translations anymore?
But seriously, I am none the wiser. I'm just not going to make albums anymore. I don't really understand the new site :S
Is there a way people can see my new photos if they aren't in albums? I can't see my new photos on my page.
