Join the Journey to the End of the Night: Vienna 2010!

2010-05-14 1

The hit worldwide game of epic proportions hits Vienna this year. Suit us as stealthily as you can and join in!

This weekend you can find the Lomography Society International taking part in the “Journey to the End of the Night Vienna” on May 15th! A totally analogue, worldwide, free street game run by hard-working volunteers everywhere from London to Los Angeles. A good time is sure to be had by all come rain or shine. This year about 600 people are expected to race through the streets of Vienna through a series of checkpoints as quickly and as stealthily as possible, while avoiding being caught by “chasers”. The first player to reach the endpoint without being tagged is the winner, though anyone who survives is deservedly praised and feted at the end. Those who fall become chasers themselves, rising to pursue their former friends and allies.

If you are a Lomographer taking part in the race be sure to let us know when you find us (if you don’t get caught by then) and keep in touch by contacting the Magazine because we are going to want to see your shots and hear the story about your journey along this outdoor game of epic proportions! And be sure to check back to the News sections to see the recap!

For live coverage from the event you can follow Lomography on Twitter and contribute to the feed as well when you hash #lomography, #journeyvienna.

And be sure to check back to the News Section of the Magazine to see how you can follow live coverage of the event from Lomography staff and Lomography Community players too!
