New York - The Best City for Testing LomoChrome Turquoise

Two years ago I swore to myself, I’ll be coming back soon!" This October my chance finally came and I flew for the second time to New York City to visit my dear colleagues in the Lomography Gallery Store New York. What I didn’t see coming, though, is the opportunity to test a new secret film during my trip.

“As soon as the One World Trade Center is done, I’ll be coming back!” That’s what I promised myself back then. I love architecture photography and sometimes spend minutes fussing over a single photo – trying to get all of the corners, lines and edges of a building just right. As I was in New York for my first time, I found it remarkable to see how a place so touched by tragedy could also blossom with new luster. This year, the construction of the 1WTC came to a close and the skyscraper, along with the 9/11 memorial, really turned out great.

With my love for architecture, I stepped up to the plate and tested the LomoChrome Turquoise. Equipped with a Sprocket Rocket camera and two test rolls, I strolled through the metropolis and did my best to capture its beauty in blue and orange.

LomoChrome Turquoise XR 100 - 400 is definitely an interesting film which is perfectly suited for architecture, landscape and street photography. Even if skin tones are a matter of taste, you can turn portraits into pieces of art, depending on the exposure. This film is simply perfect for the experimental Lomographers out there who want to give their photos extra flair!

After the success of the popular LomoChrome Purple film, we now offer LomoChrome Turquoise, which submerges your photos into soft blue tones. Light tones turn blue – from aquamarin to cobalt. Green becomes emerald and a crystal clear sea turns golden. No matter what you photograph with LomoChrome Turquoise, the results are unique, enchanting and products of your fantastic film experiments! Pre-order yours now!
