This is the first of many free lomography seminars that the Lomo Embassy will be organizing.
The Manila Lomo Embassy organized it’s first Lomo Seminar for the year. This was held in their office last April 17, 2010. Most of the speakers were from Lomomanila. They talked about the usual topics such as the definition of lomography, history of lomography, and the 10 Golden Rules. Each of the speakers showed some of their portfolio. Afterwards, the speakers talked about some popular lomographic cameras such as the LC-A+, the Horizon Kompakt, the Holga 120, the Diana+ and Diana Mini. A novelty during the seminar was the introduction of the LC-A+ Instant Back. We used several packs of Fuji Instax Mini Film and were very happy with the results. The LC-A+ Instant Back will be official launched by the Lomo Embassy next month. So we had a sneak preview of this great product. All the participants went home with some freebies and looked forward to getting into lomography given their new-found knowledge about this brand of film photography.
