Aside from the fact that Ubud is a must-visit tourist spot in Bali, it is also the perfect place to relax and get inspired. There, you’ll see and feel something different. Staying there for a month in 2012 made me discover good places to visit. If ever you’ll be in Bali for a holiday, don’t forget to visit Ubud. Now, I shall take you on a quick visit to this town!
The aura surrounding Ubud is truly different from those in other parts of Bali. It feels so authentic, warm, friendly, and spiritual. The atmosphere allows me to escape the pressures of urban life.
I know I’ve been writing a lot about Ubud, but I just can’t stop especially nowadays when people have been going there either for a short stop or a long vacation. If ever you are going to Ubud for a day trip, I shall give you a tip or two just in case you missed a spot here on your itinerary.
The first thing to do in Ubud is to just walk around and embrace the town’s aura while meeting the locals.
If you’re into “monkey business,” go to the famous Monkey Forest located at the Jalan Monkey Forest. But if don’t want to join the bunch, then just walk past by it.
There’s a hidden jogging track beside this forest. I like to call it hidden because there’s not too many people passing by, and you could really enjoy the green view there.
If you follow the path of that jogging track, you will be led to a different part of the forest. There are a lot of shops there if you’re into shopping, but if not then you can just take photos. Don’t worry, there are plenty of things to see there.
