Turn Konstruktor Accessory Designs Into A Reality!

We were blown away by the savvy engineering from the entries in the Lomography Konstruktor Accessory Challenge in January so we designed two of them for real. You can do this yourself by following these easy steps!

Two of the winning designs in real life!

Earlier in the year we ran the Lomography Konstruktor Accessory Challenge in collaboration with design site GrabCAD, a competition that encouraged creative minds to conceptualize accessories for the Konstruktor DIY camera. We took our favorite three designs and made them for real – here’s how you can do the same in 3 easy steps!

1. Have a look at our winning designs, choose one and print off the design files on the GrabCAD website or design one yourself on the GrabCAD site!

2. Take your design to a local 3D Printing shop and discuss with them on how the designs should be made. It’s best to take your Konstruktor so that they can measure this – please note that you may have to adjust some of the designs for them to work on your Konstruktor camera.. Some shops may even discuss which colors and materials work best.

3. When your accessory is all ready to go, start shooting and post the wonderful fruits of your creations on the Lomography site!

Below are the three designs chosen plus their links to download the designs.
