You may recognize Aziz Ansari for his role on the NBC show Parks and Recreation, but probably never thought you’d see him anywhere else than the boob tube or the silver screen. Apparently, the actor and comedian appreciates Lomographs and Super 8 films, according to Transistor Six’s Cory Llewellyn.
Anzari was in Austin, Texas on his “Modern Romance Tour” when he was invited by Transistor Six for a photo op. Llewelyn photographed Aziz Anzari using a Lomography Fisheye No.2, LC-A+, and a Diana F+ camera with a close up lens and a ring flash, as well as a Super 8 camera.
Here are Anzari’s portraits taken using the DIana F+:

About Transistor Six:
Transistor Six Sessions pay homage to the BBC’s Peel Sessions. It’s where we invite artists into our little studio setup at ‘Frank’ here in Austin, where they record a few live songs, take some photos with our Lomo film cameras and do an interview. We also shoot many of the shows on Super 8 film for a truly warm analogue experience.
