Tell us something about yourself.
My name is Pablo and I’m 18 years old. Currently, I live in a village on the south west part of Germany, bordering on France and Switzerland. Next October, I’ll be studying physics in Karlsruhe.
How did you find the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
I think I came across the Community when I bought my little Diana Mini. My activity was limited until the day I saw the competition Search for Analogue Stars - Portraits.
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
Always taking a camera can be a problem sometimes especially if you are with people who are not as fascinated with photography as you are. They can get easily stressed out. But, I almost always take a camera with me. The camera is kind of little friend to me. I’m just a fan of everything technical.
In this digital age, why still film?
I used a DSLR when I was just starting to take photographs. When I tried using a film camera, the atmosphere of the results especially the consciousness of taking photos convinced me to cease taking digital photos.
Your favorite analogue camera as of the moment? Why?
My favourite is my newest one, a Canon EOS 1-V. It’s probably the most advanced analogue camera. As a big fan of technology, I am a little proud to have got this “monster.” There are other ones, most of my analogue photographs are taken with a Canon T90. I must concede my strong belief in Canon cameras.
What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?
I think the LC-A would be a great one. I like the colors this camera produces.
Any song or movie you live by?
Share your current favorite Lomograph, could be yours or a friend’s. Why is this your favorite?
I am not yet familiar with the Community to have a favorite lomograph or community member but I look forward to picking these in the future!
What are you looking forward to in our Community?
Good question. First, I will try to create a considerable home, and maybe I will take part in a new competition.
