How do you stand out in a sea of selfies? Do a double exposure to show your unique and creative self!
The double exposure technique was developed to turn any casual photo into a photographic work of art. In community member furn7973’s case, it made his selfie all the more creative. A quick flick of the MX switch and you’re good to go. Go quirky as long as you have fun. This photo was taken using a Nikon FM2 loaded with an ISO 200 film. You can see more photos from furn7973 in this album.
Congratulations to furn7973 for winning Photo of the Day!
The double exposure technique is a creative and extraordinary way of adding an unconventional twist to your images. Not surprisingly, the most extraordinary double exposure images were sent as entries to this competition. The grand winner gets to bring home the photo book "Double Exposures" by Nickolas Muray.
Not only does the lens cap protect your Lomo'Instant Wide's lens from outside threats, it also doubles as a handy shutter remote control! Try it out on your long exposures, portraits, and — of course — selfies.
We love multiple exposures because no matter what scenes you choose to combine, the end result is always spectacular! Double (or triple) yourself up in a self portrait, or experiment with different patterns and objects when you shoot with your Lomo'Instant Wide and watch your amazing creations develop before your eyes!

At the end of October last year, René Burri, a great master of photography of the last century, passed away. As a tribute to him, I would like to show you some photos that I took last month at EXPO 2015 in Milan, which was inspired by his series featuring the world's fairs held in Osaka, Okinawa, and Montreal. Take a look!
