What’s a ‘hex’ anyway?

Hex actually pertains to hex values, which are 6-digit hexidecimal numbers that are primarily used in web design. Saffron, a spice derived from the flower of saffron coccus, has a variety of uses in cooking, medicine, perfumery, and even on religious rituals. But despite of this, one thing remains of this wonder spice, it’s ability to give off a strong golden yellow color similar to these Lomographs:
