The start of my story as a new Lomographer. You’ve must likely been dragged shopping by your girlfriend, mom, or sister before, and every moment becomes more boring then the last…

On one of these trips with my sister we stopped at the store ‘Urban Outfitters’. Amongst the hipster clothing i stumbled upon a small section of the store with random toys, and part of this section was a wall of Lomo cameras. The wall held Holga 135 and 120’s, Diana’s, and some action samplers, but what really stood out was the fisheye camera. The giant lense coming out of the front, the distortion that made the pictures come out at you, and the fact that it used 35mm film.
I grabbed a fisheye 2 off the shelf and some of the 100 iso film. I’ve been expanding my fisheye gear and currently have the colorsplash flash and the submarine in the mail. I’ve enjoyed the lomo experience so much I haven’t stopped clickin’ the shutter button yet.
