Lomography Spinner 360: The selfie camera

2014-05-06 2

If you too are fond of scenic shots and even if you cannot help but capture every place in 360º, then the Spinner 360º is the one that is right for you. Read on to find out more.

The Spinner 360º is a camera that can capture 360° panoramas on a regular 135 roll and is available at any photographic equipment store. Each photo is long, almost as long as 4 normal pictures, and they are also impressed with the sprocket holes.

The operation of the camera is very simple, you load the film into the camera, set the aperture using the selector switch positioned at the side of the optics (sunny, cloudy) and just pull the cord to see the lens perform a 360º sweep of your environment.

With the Spinner 360º there is an optimal level to position the camera perfectly. The lens can capture everything that surrounds us, including ourselves. And that makes the Spinner a perfect camera for selfies! :)

Give your selfies a 360º with this cool camera!

The only thing you need to put into mind when using the camera is to close the lens before rewinding the film. Otherwise we get the pictures burned, because the camera has an open shutter.

If you look for a camera that can get you 360º shots, the Spinner is right for you.

The Spinner 360° goes beyond the confines of standard panoramic cameras. See everything around you (literally!), and be swept away by truly spectacular results. Head to our Online Shop and get your own Spinner 360°!

Browsing through the Lomography website, you can find a lot of redscale shots, which are all done on color negative films. I asked myself if it’s possible to redscale a slide or chrome film and then cross process it. (And yes, it is.) In this tipster I’m going to teach you how to create the bloodiest homemade redscale film I've ever come across.

Cinematographer Michal Dabal on the Petzval Lens

Here’s what happens before we interview a photographer. We gush about the work though we have yet to find out the cameras and processes behind the brilliant composition or the light architecture. And even when they haven’t used a Lomo camera, we feature them anyway. But every once in a while comes a pro who uses one of our premium lenses at work and our fun cameras off-duty. This makes us mighty glad, more so when their images are good and worth sharing. We count cinematographer Michal Dabal's work among them.
