Rollei Retro (35mm, 400 iso) user-review

Black-spirit: In my opinion the Rollei 400 ISO is very much like that of the Ilford XP2, which I love very much!

It has a nice grain and if you do a longtime exposure during the day, the pictures turns quite bright but you still have the chance to squeeze some excess contrast off the picture.
You can actually achieve some really dreamy pics with this nice film. I used it for subjects like the Japanese monks, trees and cemeteries.

I think the black and white and the grey tones in between together with the nice contrast, this film has given my photographs a timeless look. By now it became a top b/w film choice for me.
