Vibrant Analogue Snaps Taken with the Leica M6 and the New Russar+ Lens

Here’s a handful more of photographs taken with the New Russar+ Lens mounted on the popular Leica rangefinder, the M6, to satisfy your curiosity about Lomography’s latest innovation!

We’re sure that by now, you’ve already heard the buzz about the *New Russar+ Lens*, which is compatible not only with analogue L39 and M mount cameras but also with its digital mirrorless counterparts (not to mention tons of other cameras, too!). This new premium art lens is Lomography’s reinvention of the legendary 1958 Russar MR-2, the world’s first ever 20mm lens in screw mount that was crafted by Zenit’s former Chief Optical Engineer Mikhail Mikhailovich Rusinov. The Russar+ has been updated with new features, such as a modified lens tube construction and better distortion control. Manufactured by Zenit in Russia, each Russar+ lens also features multi-coated glass and a durable glass construction. On the other hand, the Leica M6 is one of Leica’s most popular and successful rangefinder under the M-series. Although its production was already halted in 1998, the M6 remains a favorite among professional photographers.

So, what do you get when you combine the Russar+ and the Leica M6? Nothing short of stunning, sharp, and vibrant photographs.
